Athletes, please review the rosters above for the events you are in, and please email any corrections to pribic@usapowerlifting.com no later than Friday, February 26th. Only lifters noted on rosters posted will be allowed to lift in the designated event(s).


Arnold Sports Festival Athlete Information

A. ATHLETE CHECK-IN & WEIGH-IN SCHEDULE:
A table will be set-up in the Grand Ballroom of the Convention Center for Athlete Check-in and Gear Check. Weigh-ins will be located behind the stage in the Grand Ballroom for all Events, excluding the Titan Pro Bench. If you have pre-purchased an Arnold Sports Festival shirt, you will pick those up at the registeration table.

USAPL lifters, please remember that your Membership card needs to be current. You can renew during registration or you can also do so online at the USAPL eStore. If renewed online, please print your payment receipt and bring it with you to check-in.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

B. ATHLETE I.D.:
Athletes will be given wrist bands during Athlete Check-in which will allow entry into the Expo and will identify them as Arnold Sports Festival athletes.

C. COACHES:
Warm-up spaces is limited therefore, athletes will be allowed one coach. Entry to the warm-up room for the Deadlift and Bench competitions will be strictly limited. Personal coaches will be required to purchase your weekend wrist band (See Spectator section below.)

D. TRANSPORTATION TO UNIVERSITY PLAZA HOTEL, HILTON GARDEN INN:
Competitors and officials are responsible for transportation to and from the competition hotel. Many competitors are driving in. Please find directions to the hotel at: www.universityplazaosu.com. Taxi transportation from the airport costs approximately $25.

E. TRANSPORTATION FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CONVENTION CENTER:
There is public transportation that picks up directly in front of the hotel and drops off at the convention center. The hotel front desk can assist with the schedule or with arranging taxi.

F. SCALE:
The competition scale will be available at the University Plaza Hotel each evening from 7 to 10 p.m. and at weigh-ins as listed above.

G. SPECTATORS:
Access to the Expo Center, including the Grand Ballroom is $10 per day and can be purchased at the Convention Center or through the Arnold Sports Festival website.

H. ATHLETE WHEREABOUTS:
Please remember you must keep your Athlete Locator Form updated if there were any changes to your schedule after your initial submission even if you have already been out-of-meet tested.

2010 ASF Final Roster & Athlete Bio

The Final Roster for all events will be January 30, 2010. Alternates will no longer be considered for the events after that date.

It is time to collect all participating Athlete Bios. The information in the bios are displayed on the big screens at all the events. Please take a moment to submit your bio. Deadline for your bio is February 5th.

2009 Arnold Sports Festival Important Dates and Information

Rosters have been posted for each event. Please pay close attention to the deadlines below. Failure to comply with the requirements will result in removal from the competition. When filling out the Athlete Locator form, select "YES" for IPF/NAPF competition and then Select "Arnold Sports Festival" for the competition.

The following are important dates to remember:
- November 1 - Deadline to Accept/Decline your rankings. After this date, alternates will be considered.
- November 25- 4th Quarter Athlete Locator Form due. Mandatory to remain in the competition.
- December 10 - Deadline to Submit and Pay Entry. Non-receipt of Entry/Fee will remove athlete from competition.
- December 15 - 1st Quarter Athlete Locator Form due. Mandatory to remain in the competition.

Alternates - You do not need to submit either the Athlete Locator Form or Entry. If you move up into the active roster, you will be contacted via email immediately with instructions and deadlines.

Additional contest information, including flights, start times, etc will be posted on this webpage once lifters have been finalized.

2009 Arnold Sports Festival Selection Criteria & Competition Formats, Rankings Update

The rankings are now posted. There are now online forms for submitting your Accept or Decline responses, missing rankings or corrections. Please review the Selection Criteria before using the forms or sending inquiry emails. Missing rankings will only be added for lifters who are in the "Tier One' qualifiers, sorry any other requests will not be taken until the Tier One lifter rankings have been exhausted.

Please note that there are still three qualifiers that have not been posted in the rankings, they may affect the current rankings, so please do not plan your trip to Columbus until the Final Rankings have been posted after November 1. The Raw Challenge qualifiers are compete, any lifter who is ranked above the alternate list may consider themselves 'in' the competition if they accept their slot.

-Night of the Living Dead - Sept 19
-Master Worlds - Oct 3
-NAPF BP Championships - Oct 10

We are also encouraging using the Online Entry Form and payment this year to help streamline the process. You may find this option on the Arnold webpage above.
